Forbidden Colours released ‘Iras Fajro’ on February 1, the debut album by YAMILA. Vortex of fragility, electronic distortion and discursive fierceness, Iras Fajro conjures up, from an expansive and immersive audiovisual proposal that travels through optics and sweetly dreamlike resonances. In this album, YAMILA summons in 11 tracks the strength of electronic sounds in front of a fragile voice that at times unfolds in small coral clusters. The brilliant electronic arpeggios and rhythms dissolve in the velvety sounds of the cello, which are sometimes intertwining with the creations of two collaborators,, the British producer and composer Clark (Warp) and the multifaceted ex-flamenco Niño de Elche (Sony).
